History & Info.

Should you require sculpting or other creative services, Eagle Bronze has on staff artists capable of meeting your exacting needs. Eagle Bronze also provides mold making and enlargement services. In the area of monumental projects, Eagle Bronze provides structural engineering and drawings of armature design, as well as monument transportation and installation services. Should it be required for large projects, Eagle Bronze is bondable. Our work force presently consists of over 50 employees.

We are currently working on a project that is billed as the “largest equestrian sculpture in the world.” It is destined for the El Paso, TX airport and is a lifelike representation of Don Juan de Onate, the famous colonizer of the southwest. The monumental statue will be the second bronze in a series that celebrates over 400yrs of the rich history of the American Southwest. The figure is 36 feet tall and features Don Juan rearing back on his horse. We were picked as one of the only foundries in the country capable of constructing such a monumental piece.

In addition, we are currently working on a series of bronze bulls for the acclaimed artist Arturo Di Modica. His famous “Charging Bull” is one of the most recognizable sculptures in the world and the famous original sits in front NYSE on Wall Street in Manhattan and has become a symbol of the market for millions worldwide.

Due to the time-line required to complete a project of this magnitude, the work has been carefully chosen and scheduled so as not to impact other ongoing large projects, or those coming to us in the future. Over the past 20 years we have completed over 750 additional monuments, including: six twenty-two foot panthers for the NFL Carolina Panthers; six heroic running horses for the “Museum of the Horse” in Ruidoso, NM; fourteen buffalo and three Indians on horseback for Kevin Costner’s Dunbar resort in Deadwood, SD. This and many others make up the Eagle Bronze portfolio of fine art that has been cast and installed nationwide.
